The French NGO – Ministry of Housing Crisis – decided to squat empty buildings and build flats for students needing accomodation.

The umbrella group is formed by pressure groups Macaq, Jeudi Noire and Doit au Loegment. The aim of the group is to promote legal squatting where it is believe that 1/10 apartments in Paris is empty. (expatfrance in not affiliated with any of these pressure groups)
