There seems to be a lot of confusion out there as to how to connect to the free internet offered by the marie de Paris, making an internet connection is simple, if you follow the right steps; but firstly, please note:
The internet connection called “FREE” is NOT the free wifi service provided by the marie de Paris in public places, this is the name of another service, just like NOOS, SFR, OZONEPARIS etc
Steps to connecting
1. find a a public area with free wifi access, these areas are clearly marked in parks with the following sign
2. Turn on your computer, select “connect to network” and choose the orange network [Wi-fi Orange]
3. Once connected, open your explorer (IE, Firefox,Chromo) and type in an address
4. You will automatically be guided to a log-in page (Main)
5. Click on Selectionnez Votre Pass
6. Fill in the details requested and accept the terms and conditions of use and confirm.
7. You will be presented with a confirmation message and an indicator of the time remaining on your session
8. Your session will last 2 hours
9. Once your two hours have expired, you can reconnect!
