A daily work scehdule for an au pair in Italy is 5 to 6 hours with one full day off during the week. Au Pair Plus programs means an aupair will work 7 – 8 hours a day with 2 days off a week. An Aupair will spend on average, between 6 and 12 months with a family, during the period health cover and medical insureance should be arranged. Au Pairs originating from outside of the European union will be required to enroll on a language course and present the certificate of enrolment, along with the payment receipt, any Italian college or school will suffice.
